475 Cornelder, Josiah 507 Handcrafted wooden archery bow made from a stage of hickory. This bow was shaped by using a draw knife to take the bark and cambium off of the stake. After cutting and shaping the bow the next step was to create a Flemish twist string. This was done by taking the length of the entire bow and adding 20 inches long and then making 14 total strands equal that length. With these strands they were twisted in reverse and shaped into a loop on both ends if the bow. The final step of creating the bow was adding a design and staining the wood. The stain chosen was a dark walnut wood and on the back of the bow is artificial rattle snake skin. Written on the belly of the bow says “Galadhrim.” This bow is 63 inches long and 1.5 inches wide Blue Polk
