442 Giles, Simon 490 I sewed and created a large black quilt with several bright colored hexagons on one side of the quilt, and on the other side of the quilt I chose a fabric that has lots of white lines and white dots. The pattern I picked out for the side with the bright, bold hexagons is by Gudarun Erla of age Designs. This pattern required me to learn how to use a hexagon trim tool. If you look pay close attention to the hexagons you can also see that I sewed different geometric shapes like circles, triangles, and squares. My quilt demonstrates several design elements and principles; line, texture, color, rhythm, proportion, emphasis, unity, balance, shape, and space. The quilt came out to be 65.5 inches wide and 74 inches long. Blue Polk
454 Regennitter, Iola 491 I crocheted a rhubarb inspired gradient star blanket. The pattern I followed is called the “6-Day Superstar Blanket,” by Betty McKnit. The colors in this blanket are a variety of pinks, reds, and whites. This project costed me about $39 and took one month to finish. The blanket came out to be 60 inches in diameter. Red Polk
456 Kelly, Elianna 492 A 15x18.5in quilted tote bag. On the bag you will see a variety of patterns and colors. Blue butterflies, purple flowers and dragonflies, purple tie dye with flowers, blue with greenery looking flowers, and light purple with darker purple leaves. The tote bag has 12 in handles. These handles are a lighter blue fabric with darker blue and white butterflies and flowers. Blue Polk
465 Dwyer, Shelby 493 A 15x7in wooden looking basket filled with fake moss with 3 Three dimensional needle chicks. The base was the chicks was mad with wet felting while the coloring of the chicks came from needle felting. Red Polk
474 Cornelder, Rachel 494 I crocheted a brown reusable grocery bag by following a free crochet pattern I found online by “EvelynAndPeter.” I used brown acrylic yarn for this project and looked on Pinterest for inspiration. The great part about this bag is that it is very versatile and can be use for not only groceries but also hauling library books. The brown bag is 23 inches long and 11 inches wide. Blue Polk
476 Delaney, Brynn 496 Future dream wedding bouquet inspired from a previous crochet project of Delaneys moms wedding bouquet. The dream wedding bouquet was crocheted using several patterns and a variety of colors. The crocheted flowers are supposed to be cream and pink roses, and the stem and leaves were crocheted using two different colors of green yarn. There are a total of 9 pink roses and 6 cream roses. This crocheted bouquet is displayed in a glass mason jar and is tied off with a shimmery iridescent bow with gold trimming. The whole project (bouquet in glass mason jar) is 12 inches tall and 8 inches wide. Red Polk
